Bonojit is a talented folk musician who is compelled to risk his life every day to provide food to his family. He works as a woodcutter for a living. One day his daughter Munu’s school teacher says in class that those who cut trees are bad people. Munu’s friends starts bullying her by saying that her father is a bad man because he cuts trees. She also starts believing them and starts fearing her father. This incident with Munu strengthens the resolve in Bonojit to take up music as his primary profession, something he has always tried to do in the past but failed. Yet, this time it was different, for, it was the love for his daughter. This new resolve takes Bonojit through an excruciating journey of hope, heartbreak and determination that changes his life.
